The Steps
There are just five steps to creating this adorable long stitch journal!
Step 01: Create Pages
First, you'll create the signatures, which make up the pages of your journal.
Step 02: Add Sewing Holes
The next step is creating your template and sewing holes to prepare for sewing.
Step 03: Create Cover
Before we put your book together, it's time to prepare and decorate your cover! This is where you can let your unique style shine.
Step 04: Sew Book
In this step, you'll sew your book together.
Step 05: Decorate Spine
In the final step, you'll add finishing touches and decorate the spine of your journal.

Through Vintage Page Designs and the Handmade Book Club, I’ve met thousands of other passionate bookmakers, mixed media artists and crafters. We all share a love of book arts and crafting just for the joy of it.
I believe that bookbinding and book arts are for everyone, regardless of skill level or equipment. All you need is a little creativity and, of course, paper!
